My Life on the Shores of Troy

I have officially been accepted to the Arcadia Center for Hellenic, Balkan, and Mediterranean Studies. Whoo. Long title. I am excited, but nervous. I will be spending the next few months travelling in and out of New York in an attempt to secure a study visa, which is difficult, expensive, and tedious to get. Thank God I have Lisa to go through this with. We cannot be roommates, as we've recently discovered, but it might be good for us to have a semester off. Anyway, we'll be in Athens together, for heaven's sake, so I really hope that we won't be spending so much time in our apartment that it will even matter. I cannot wait to see... everything. We want to go to Santorini and Crete, for starters, then Istanbul, Cairo, Barcelona, Munich, Paris, London, Parugia, Rome, and anywhere else we can get on our meager budgets.
